Café de France

Like a traditional ‘restaurant du coin’ in France where locals love to eat, Café de France is a neighbourhood café that expands the culinary offering of Sydney’s Coogee Beach. It is small, local and independent. Working with our friend restaurateur Rafaele Yon, in 2014 we designed the café interior, identity, online platform (in progress) and Le Petit Journal – a tiny publication that is both menu and newspaper and focuses on produce and producers, the French classics, the traditions of home and cooking and eating together, and also the history of the neighbourhood.
